I just spent the past three hours reading this incredible book. I am currently fighting stage 4 head and neck cancer for the past year. This book and the way it brought the life of legendary coaches to life on a personal level has given me the faith and determination to keep fighting and ultimately prevail. Thank you.

I expected this book to be good just from the title and it did not disappoint. I have been holding on to anger at someone I looked up to and trusted that double crossed me. This book hit me right between the eyes to let that anger motivate me to reach my full potential. The warrior has been awaken again.

The lessons contained in this book are practical and easy to use for athletes or non athletes. The book is based on a fictional football coach but weaves in snippets of wisdom from famous real life coaches in fictional settings. I would highly recommend reading all of the Darrin Donnelly books.

As a person who loves books and seeks inspiration from inspiring people and attitudes, I loved this book. When I was 12 years old in 1958 the Baltimore Colts won the World Championship 23-17 in overtime against New York. I didn't yet have the concept of great states to collect and relive again and again, but once I was aware of how our brain can collect our favorite and most powerful states and our mind can relive those feelings I have made a personal collection of positive states. "Think Like a Warrior" will add great states to anyone who can connect with the ideas of these five inspiring coaches. I am in the Happiness Hall of fame and view my life mission to spread happiness. These five inner beliefs will enable everyone who sincerely wishes to create more happiness for more people to upgrade their level of success.

I just finished the book, "Think Like A Warrior" - The Five Inner Beliefs That Make You Unstoppable and it is a fantastic read. No matter if you're an athlete, student, employee or teacher/coach. I'm not sure which of Darrin's series of books is best but they are all great. I love the old school mentality applied to today. Having Grit, being the best you can be despite odds and external influences. Taking control of you and your circumstances. I can honestly say I apply these principals he's laid out in story form in my life. My life has changed for the better is so many ways in recent years. Yes my personal choices are mine but you are a product of what you take in.Effort and Attitude man... Start with the first book and keep going. Can't wait for the next in the series.

Surprisingly this 32 page Graphic Library edition managed to provide a great overview of the mission.This edition is organized into four chapters. Chapter one (Houston, We’ve had a problem) tells about those astronauts who were on this mission and their initial flight and the serious problem they had during the flight to the moon. The second chapter focuses on how the ground crews worked on “solving the problem” and bring back the astronauts to Earth. The third chapter covers “the long journey home” when they had further serious problems. The final chapter deals with the “splashdown.” There is also more information about Apollo 13, a glossary, internet sites, and other books on this mission.Even though this series is obviously written for children; nevertheless, I still found it an interesting and enjoyable read. I do think this graphic novel version gives youngsters a good basic overview of this important space mission.Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J. Bought this for my 8 year old daughter and she loved it. It is a very informative book and suited perfectly for her age/reading level.

My son isn't the best reader, but this book combines the 2 things that he seems to enjoy reading, disasters and comics. A fairly accurate history is written in an easier to read format.

This is for the Kindle version of the book, not the book itself. The Kindle version is the most assinine piece of junk for finding anything in the book. The search engine finds way too many hits when looking for a specific drug so that it takes way too long to find what is needed. A patient could die before finding the info needed. The contents page just has the first letter then a repetitive list of subject matter for drugs but without any mention of the drug. Ex. "A" - Pharmacology and mechanism of action, indications, etc.; Pharmacology and mechanism of action, indications, etc; Pharmacology and mechanism of action, indications, etc; Pharmacology and mechanism of action, indications, etc."B" - Pharmacology and mechanism of action, indications, etc; Pharmacology and mechanism of action, indications, etc; Pharmacology and mechanism of action, indications, etc..The Kindle idiots have no idea how to make digital textbooks.I had the physical copy of the first edition and loved the book. The author should cancel any contract he has with the Kindle idiots.

I have both this drug handbook and Plumb's, and I will use both for my work. However I find that Saunders provides the information to me in an easier to understand manner, as I find I can easily get lost in all the information Plumbs gives on each medication and I can lose sight of the important points I need to remember. I check both to verify dosages and ensure correct information, but when learning about medications Saunders presents it in a much clearer and succinct manner.

In the electronic form - A formulary with a nonexistant search function, a table of contents that does not list the drug names just the subsections of the drugs which are all the same. This book in electronic form is about as worthless as they get. I hard copy this book is ok but in electronic form it is impossible to navigate. - A waste of funds. I will never use it. I wish I could get my money back.

Best formulary in vet med because doses are carefully thought about based on PK/PD concepts and evidence rather than just encyclopedic listings of all doses recommended publically but all types of vets. Dr. Papich "calls" the most appropriate dose which takes the guess work out asking vets to pick a doses based on "what other people use" or "what looks right". I never felt good about having to do that with other formularies, with this one I feel like I can lean on the wisdom of someone who has dedicated their career to evidence-based pharmacology. Isn't that how formularies are supposed to work?

A must-have for veterinarians. The focus in Saunder's handbook is written so that it is easily used for clinical practice, rather than in some other formularies where they say "in 2 studies, a dosing range of 0.5-14mg/kg was used and no adverse events were noted." Formatted so that everything is easy to read, and everything written about each drug is clinically important to know.

Very helpful resource to bring in the clinic! I feel like my clinicians (just graduated veterinary school) agreed with doses I chose in this book more than other references, like plumbs. Would be better if it could fit in a lab coat pocket but not a bad size and worth carrying around!

Great formulary. If you're in vet school, buy one before you start clinics and keep your own notes in it. Does have an error regarding scheduling of tramadol on pg. 871, but otherwise it's my go-to!

I used to use Plumbs, but this one is so much more reader friendly and small. The "small" Plumbs is just really tiny print and so much extra info that I usually do not need.
